What Gordon Goodwin had to say.
I recently had the opportunity to spend several days working with the students in the jazz studies department at Pasadena City College and came away with a healthy respect for what I saw and heard. The students are inquisitive and enthusiastic and are thriving in the positive atmosphere that Andrea Baker Wilkerson has created. The program is well rounded and covers a wide range of jazz disciplines, from traditional to contemporary, with both small and large ensembles. I hope to get back to Pasadena City College again soon!
